February 2009
Our Sunday walk on the first day of February went to Giants Ring in Belfast | The view of the mountains is spectacular
Someone in a rush to get back to the main pack-leader..tsk |

and close up | |
Here we had to keep Guinness on the lead as it's a grazing field | Back at Shaws Bridge we met this kajak.......
...and Guinness was not impressed - just look at the hairs on her back. Later she relaxed though. |
So we thought we'd try and see if she'd jump in the water after a stick -
- being a labrador she's supposed to like water - |
- NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |
Now, Why am I behind bars???? | Well, Guinness was not behind bars - it was rather Tara, the mum of these 7 puppies, who was with her litter behind bars to protect them. | Five girls and two boys all fighting for the best milk. The puppies were born on 24th January so are 11 days old. |
And lying in little bundles under the heat lamp | More dogs behind bars - these are Taras housemates: Jackie, who owns all these lovely dogs lives in Banbridge and will hopefully introduce us to Agility when the time comes. |
Heidi, the whippet, Sophie and Tina the black labs (Tina is from the same breeder as Guinness, but now 10 years old). I didn't get a picture othe last dog - Ben a yellow 12 yr old lab. |
The snow came to Northern Ireland - just as the rest of the UK we're not prepared.. this is the view from our 1st floor window. Notice the mountains in the background. |
Looking the other way up the street
Guinness enjoys the snow - | - well, she may not look that way, but she wants to gt out into the garden all the time, so it can't be that bad. | And anyway - she has just the same expression indoors.... |
9 feb 09 - at very nearly 6months. |
